Extra Access
Extra Access is partnering with rural primary care physicians, pharmacies, and urgent care clinics to offer the Extra Access program, including an app to assist seniors to receive personalised assistance with their healthcare needs.
Challenge
Our challenge here was to create a simple website, which promotes the Extra Access app. The site needs to be easy to navigate and simple to understand, targeted at senior adults.
Solution
Our design has lots of white space, with appropriate use of stock images and the colours from the client’s branding palette. Easily legible text in short, simple blocks, with clear calls-to-action picked out in gold.

Colours
The client-provided logo was the base for our choice of colours, plus a contrasting gold for highlights and buttons.
Fonts
Montserrat
The old posters and signs in the traditional Montserrat neighbourhood of Buenos Aires inspired Julieta Ulanovsky to design this typeface and rescue the beauty of urban typography that emerged in the first half of the twentieth century. The letters that inspired this project have work, dedication, care, colour, contrast, light and life, day and night! These are the types that make the city look so beautiful.
Roboto
Roboto has a dual nature. It has a mechanical skeleton and the forms are largely geometric. At the same time, the font features friendly and open curves. While some Grotesques distort their letterforms to force a rigid rhythm, Roboto doesn’t compromise, allowing letters to be settled into their natural width. This makes for a more natural reading rhythm more commonly found in humanist and serif types.
