Yogear sells yoga leggings, specially made for active people and yoga lovers. Yogear contacted us to help them create a beautiful and functional e-commerce website that will drive sales for their products. They were looking for a partner who can help design, develop and maintain their website.
Challenge

The main chal­lenge for this project was to build an e‑commerce web­site incor­po­rat­ing the lat­est trends in UI design while keep­ing the web­site sim­ple to use. The web­site should reflect the mis­sion of Yogear and help vis­i­tors find what they’re look­ing for quick­ly and eas­i­ly. The web­site should be bright and mem­o­rable but at the same time trust­wor­thy and professional.

Solution

Before jump­ing into brain­storm­ing ideas, we start­ed with UX research and analysed the prob­lems and desires of the tar­get audi­ence. We gath­ered our data and found a solution. 

Using a min­i­mal­is­tic approach in design­ing the web­site for ease of use and nav­i­ga­tion, we applied the lat­est trends in UI design to keep every­thing fresh and mod­ern, and main­tain audi­ence interest. 

To encour­age vis­i­tors to become cus­tomers, we strate­gi­cal­ly placed CTA but­tons through­out the prod­uct pages, added detailed descrip­tions, and sim­pli­fied the buy­er’s journey.

Our team of expert devel­op­ers has built a high­ly respon­sive web­site that can be used on dif­fer­ent devices.

Brand Style Guide

Colours
A combination of blue and purple shades was chosen for the website. We incorporated the colours from the logo to create a comprehensive look for the whole experience. The shades of purple represent royalty, peace, and luxury, and the blue for peace and relaxation.
Fonts
Script MT
Script MT font has an unusually heavy appearance, inspired by the early twentieth-century German script writing styles.
Asul
Asul can be described as a baroque humanist typface; it has semi-serifs and it is a type revival project developed for editorial use. It is based on a typeface found in some Argentinian books and magazines from the early 20th century.
